Job description Job description $80,000.00 per year Salary PLUS profit sharing. Taisho SFis currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant/karaoke environment. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. These individuals should love customer service, enjoy working in a fun fast paced environment and have basic food handling knowledge and skills. Duties Include: Administer employee onboarding, cash handling, payroll reporting, and scheduling Coaching and developing a small team, both front of house and back of house staff Experience increasing sales and minimizing costs Ensure we have the proper inventory on hand Dedicated leader with strong attention to detail & commitment to service excellence Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate directly, professionally, and respectfully Proficient knowledge of sake & beer Strong sense of urgency and direct communication skills Experience resolving conflicts rapidly with professionalism and fairness Supervise the floor. Ensure customers are greeted promptly and in a friendly manner Explaining specials and menu items Taking orders and continuing with follow-up items to improve the meal while ensuring that the service is completed in accordance with health code regulations. Interact with customers in a positive, professional manner Assist all restaurant staff to enhance the guest experience Ability to multitask Oversee general upkeep and cleanliness during shift Ensure cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes are being completed Prep or side work Assisting customers in karaoke rooms Troubleshooting karaoke rooms Verify staffing for each shift. Take and verify reservations and events. Ensure each staff member in the assigned area complies with all Company policies and procedures, safety, sanitation and alcoholic beverage laws. Ability to observe customers for determining whether service of alcohol is appropriate in light of local ABC laws. Ability to interact with guests in order to assure customer satisfaction. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull. Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established by the Company. Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage servers. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs. Must-haves: Have excellent communication and organization skills. Commitment to providing the highest quality hospitality experience possible Cultivate strong relationships with guests and the community to build clientele. Manage operational expenses and revenues to achieve profitability. Conduct performance reviews and manage staff development. Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our guests. Have excellent attention to detail and service knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Apps Basic math skills Minimum qualifications: Strong work ethic Keep up with a fast pace/ high volume restaurant Weekend and holiday availability Great attitude Previous restaurant/hospitality experience. Previous management management experience. Some catering and events experiences are a plus 21 years of age and up
